Were the sky not blue in Lanzarote, you'd think you were on the Moon or Mars. They're both a bit far away but Lanzarote is just 30 minutes by boat from Fuerteventura, which is a short time to travel for an otherworldly experience. You'll visit Timanfaya National Park, El Golfo and a winery – all in one day.

After an early pick-up, we'll go to the port to board the ferry to Playa Blanca. The action starts straight away with a visit to Timanfaya National Park, which is home to a third of the island's 100 volcanoes. Admire eerie landscapes of fantastic forms in shades maroon, red, grey and black. You'll also be treated to a few party tricks courtesy of the geothermic earth below you.

Sailing the shores of Tenerife's towering volcanic coastline is one relaxing experience – and with this trip, it's made even more so from the sun-drenched deck of a catamaran. Next, you'll journey along the coastal road to Binibeca. This fairytale-like village is packed with narrow alleys of sugar-cube houses that cascade down to the harbour. Just a little further east along the coast is the Cova d'en Xoroi, a cave set in a cliff face. Sip on a drink as you take in the sea views from Menorca's coolest bar. To round off the day, step back in time at the 3,000-year-old Torralba d'en Salord megalithic archaeological site, famed for big its dolmen-like rocks. With your visit, you contribute to its preservation.

First up is a glass-bottom boat trip in Mahon harbour – the second largest in the world. Glide between fortified islets and admire the opulent villas lining the waterfront on either side. Some date from the 18th century, when Menorca was a British colony. Next, it's on to the old Xoriguer gin distillery for a guided visit. Menorca's favourite tipple has been made here, using the same recipe, since 1736 – yet another symbol of the island's British heritage.

There's also free time to wander around Mahon under your own steam, admiring its Georgian townhouses, baroque churches, palm-lined squares and narrow, cobbled streets. Head to the centrally located Plaça del Carme, where there's a market for vendors hawking everything from cured meats to fresh fruit under the cloisters of a 17th-century convent. The local square-shaped cheese is highly regarded throughout Spain. And keep an eye for posters highlighting discounts if you're one of our guests.

The town of Soller is the perfect place to explore the narrow cobbled streets where you will find everything from locally made handicrafts and souvenirs to freshly picked fruit.
In the port of Soller, which is very famous for its oranges, guests have the opportunity to try the fresh juice in any of authentic cafes, or even purchase of oranges.
The historic electric train between Port of Soller and Son Reus railway station, crossing the plains, winding through maintains and 13 tunnels of the Serra de Tramuntana. Work began on the railway in 1911 on the profits of the orange and lemon trade, which at the time was booming. For this reason, the train is sometimes known as the Orange Express.

Puerto de Mogan is said by many to be the most beautiful town in Gran Canaria, and once you've set eyes on its toytown houses, it's hard to argue. This tour brings you by boat, docking right in the heart of the harbour after a scenic approach, so you avoid long walks from out-of-town parking lots.

Cupped into cliffs at the mouth of a steep valley, it's known as ‘Little Venice' for its canal, blue and yellow trimmed white cottages, wrought iron balconies and flower festooned lanes. Traits that have made it very popular by road, not the most scenic. Arriving by boat, you're in the middle of all the action straight away.
