Your Own Holland. Haarlem, the Coastal Dunes and the North Sea

It is one of our favorite tours. We designed it for everyone, who is tired of the city bustle; and for those, who do not have a lot of time, but wish to see as much as possible.

We will meet you at the train station in Haarlem. We will visit the magnificent main square, The Cathedral of St.Bavon, the meat guild, picturesque courtyards (hofje).

On bikes through the dune reserve with fantastic views we will head towards the North Sea up the road, which goes down. Don't be surprised, this is not a figure of speech at all! The bike paths are perfect here, and not a soul on them. If the bike ride is not for you, we can go by bus. It is as picturesque as the bike ride. Along the way we will stop in the National Park to have a picnic there. If we will be lucky, then we will see rabbits, foxes, deer or the highland cattles! And we will definitely see the North Sea! Texel Day Tour with Guide

Texel is full of grass- and heather-covered dunes and fields of brightly-blooming tulips, daffodils, and lavender. An island full of white sheep, seals, horses grazing in the mist and countless flocks of birds. Tiny villages with windmills, ice cream carts, and horse-drawn wagons, just like in a children's fairy tale. At the harbor, there is a boardwalk, fishing nets, old rowboats, shabby boats of hard-working fishermen and a bright red lighthouse. There, you can hear the heavy northern sea, rolling gently over the faint white sand, with its muffled but soothing rumble. It’s a gorgeous place with no horizons, where the sky and sea fade into one another. There is no such thing as time here.

Given that each farmer has a different schedule, this program is conditional. It depends on the season, the day of the week, holidays, the weather and above all else, your personal interests and the amount of time you have on the island.

Rotterdam & Kinderdijk: Daytrip from Amsterdam

Combine a private tour of Rotterdam, city of the future, with the wonders of the 18th-century windmills of Kinderdijk. Climb the Euromast to have an amazing view of the largest port of Europe and visit a working windmill to learn about 700 years of water management.

Rotterdam is the Dutch center of landmarks and experimental architecture. After bombings destroyed the entire heart of Rotterdam during World War II, the Dutch rebuilt the city and Rotterdam developed into Europe’s largest port from which the city earns the title ‘Gate to the World’.

The windmills of Kinderdijk, meaning ‘Children’s Dike’, represent exactly that. These 19 windmills were built around 1740 to drain the Polder and prevent the land from flooding. Kinderdijk is the largest concentration of such old windmills in the Low Lands and have been on the UNESCO World Heritage List ever since 1997.
