Were the sky not blue in Lanzarote, you'd think you were on the Moon or Mars. After an early pick-up, we'll go to the port to board the ferry to Playa Blanca. The action starts straight away with a visit to Timanfaya National Park, which is home to a third of the island's 100 volcanoes. Admire eerie landscapes of fantastic forms in shades maroon, red, grey and black. You'll also be treated to a few party tricks courtesy of the geothermic earth below you.

On the park's coastal edge, head to El Golfo to see the green lagoon at the back of a black beach and the nearby Hervideros cliffs. They were formed by molten lava pouring into the sea. There's a stop to learn all about the benefits of aloe vera. Rounding off the day is a wine tasting in La Geria.

Family adventures are what holidays are all about – and this one has the whole clan covered. You'll visit some of the island's most beautiful viewpoints as you head off-road in a powerful 4x4, enjoy a camel ride and visit the emblematic town of Fataga.
Hop in a rugged off-road vehicle and it all kicks off with a ride around the Chira reservoir. Next you'll drive up to Ayacata in the central highlands of the island. Continue off road on the trails of San Bartolome de Tirajana and onto the charming hillside village of Fataga. There's free time to find lunch in a local restaurant.
Once fuelled up on food, head to an aloe vera farm where you'll learn all about the plant and its different uses. Then, you'll zoom down dusty tracks and trails towards the Camel Park in Arteara. Hear all about these curious animals from your guide, and you'll even have the option to saddle up for a ride. Afterwards you'll be dropped off at the pick-up zone.

Rolling hills, endless olive groves and romantic hilltop villages – the Serra de Llevant mountains in the east of the island offer an unbeatable snapshot of rural Majorca. After free time for lunch, we'll head to the coast to visit the Arta Caves in the afternoon. The setting is hard to beat – a headland overlooking a charming bay. Inside, you'll explore the labyrinth of caverns, with the stalactites and stalagmites illuminated by a sophisticated lighting system.

Leaving the Southern side of the island behind, enjoy a relaxed transfer towards the city of Las Palmas de Gran Canaria. The hooting taxis, bustling shopping districts, chatty bars and thriving port all give off the energy of this city, which is Spain’s ninth-largest.
