Nordskottraversen

Stetind is one of the greatest climbs you can do in Norway. Located in Nordland County, Stetind is Norway’s national mountain. You need to be very fit, well used to strenous, steep hiking and have a good head for heights.

Kuglhorn is an outsider and neighbor to the more famous Stetind. The journey to Kuglhorn via the east ridge involves highly exposed and airy climbing. You do not climb this route if you have a fear of heights. On the approach up, we cross Verdenssvaet; a 2 km long floor of granite.

Strandåtind on Kjerringøy is a classic in Norwegian mountain sports. Strandåtind is a long and airy ridge traverse. More climbing than Stetind, but never harder. Ranked as Norway's 3rd most difficult peak to climb. Will you join?

Hamarøyskaftet is one of the most characteristic mountains in Northern Norway. It’s less well known than Stetind and the summit is just 613 metres above sea level. Some alpine climbing is needed to reach the summit.
