Hiking to Gramvousa peninsula and Balos beach

Aradena the abandoned village on the ruins of the stone houses build at the same place of ancient Aradin.A trip thtrough history, this is a great hike crossing the gorge, ending at the Lybian sea at Marmara and returning back on a different path through Livaniana.Starting this great hike we are going to visit Aradena abandoned village.We will hike around the ruins of the stone houses there and the church of Ai Stratigos.Then we are going to follow down side the stone path that leads to the gorge

Starting from Anopolis village we hike down to Loutro beach, Finicas beach and Lycos beach.After a short break for swim or to have a snack, we continiu up t Livaniana little village with the great view of the Lybian sea.Living Lovaniana behind us we move highter on the east clive side of Aradena gorge and then more eastern back to Anopolis. Very beutifull and intresting hike to cretan nature,little villages,beaches and the greatness of the view of the White Mountains.Anopolis iswell knowing also

After 45min by car starting from Chania we will be at Zourva village at 550m altitute that is a place with wonderfull amfitheatric view.Starting to hike the path is quite stipy in a cypress forest getting highter and highter.Small openings allowes view to lower villages. After an hour the path is less stipy and the view contains an option to the gorge of Tromarissa on the west and the hightest mountains.Later on the path continiu lower for a while in to a stream and again highter to Tromarissa.
