Snowshoe adventure in Iivaara nature reserve

Description
Explore the Quiet Magic of Iivaara Fell. Far from the hustle and bustle of everyday life, Iivaara Fell offers a peaceful and enchanting escape into nature. The name "Iivaara" comes from the words "Ii" (dark) and "vaara" (fell), perfectly capturing the mystical atmosphere of this remote Arctic treasure.
As the highest fell in southern Kuusamo, Iivaara rewards you with stunning views that stretch all the way to the horizon. From the summit, you can see the fells of Russia to the east, sit beneath silent snowy spruce trees, and truly experience the stillness of Arctic nature. Your guide will share fascinating stories about the surrounding wilderness and life in the north, making the experience even more special.
During the hike, we’ll take a break by a cozy campfire to enjoy a trail meal and warm drinks.
