Guided Tour - Alternative Bike Tour - Malaga

Description

Our Alternative Bike Tour Malaga Ride will take you on an eclectic journey to a side of Malaga that tourists rarely get to see!
Discover surprising street art painted by world-famous graffiti artists such as OBEY in the new SOHO area of Malaga during our Alternative Bike Tour Malaga Ride.
This once bourgeois neighbourhood that fell into decline is now the up and coming trendy part of town. Passing by the Contemporary Art Museum of Malaga, we then head towards the working side of the port and out to the Huelin beaches. Here, rising up between the palm trees, you´ll discover tall red-brick chimneys- a tribute to Malaga’s once important industrial past. You´ll hear about the growth of Malaga as a powerful giant of industry in the mid- 1800’s and all about the factors that led to its decline in the early 1900’s, as well as some local romantic anecdotes!  The last part of the ride takes you into one of the hidden gems of Malaga- the River Guadalhorce Nature Reserve.  Cycle on trails lined by tall grasses and wild flowers, around lagoons filled with all kinds of birds and cycle out to the only wild beach on the Malaga coastline. Enjoy a tasty local snack while taking a break at the edge of the Mediterranean Sea. And if you’re lucky, you may even see a flamingo or two. An unforgettable off the beaten track experience!
