Soweto y Museo del Apartheid - en Español (Servicio en Privado) - MUSEO DEL APARTHEID CERRADO POR COVID HASTA NUEVO AVISO -

Description
We will visit one of the most famous museums in the world, the Apartheid Museum, known as the "Essence of the Nation" or "The Soul of South Africa." Its walls represent the tragedy, destruction, brutality, and courage in the struggle of a people for democracy, also representing the peace, freedom, and forgiveness of a nation. Your guide will accompany you and provide an explanation during your tour of the museum.
We will head to Soweto, but before that, we will make a stop to take a photograph at the popular FNB soccer stadium, also known as the 'Calabash' for its pumpkin shape and where the opening and closing of the 2010 World Cup took place.
Once in Soweto, immerse yourself in the events of 1976 that influenced the fight for freedom and walk in the footsteps of the Father of the Nation, Nelson Mandela.
We will visit the old house where he and his family lived and walk down Vilakazi Street, also famous for being home to 2 Nobel Peace Prize winners, Desmond Tutu and Nelson Mandela.
You will have free time to browse the craft stalls on Vilakazi Street and hopefully enjoy a traditional dance. Sometimes you may encounter street groups dressed in their typical attire who, with a tip, will be happy to take a photo with you.
