Southern Art & Culture, Private Tour

Description
Enjoy the 9-day private circuit through southern Peru. Delve into the most bohemian side of the cities of Cusco and Lima with its not-so-known but incredible and bohemian corners such as Callao and Palomino Islands. Experience the live culture of Cusco in activities that encompass the art and tradition it contains, where every detail, colour and form tell a story and has a reason for being. Also, enjoy Lima and marvel at everything that the capital of Peru, so cosmopolitan and modern, has to offer.
TOUR HIGHLIGHTS
Lima: Listed as a World Heritage Site by UNESCO, the Peruvian capital is a symbol of history and modernity. In its historic centre, colonial architectural coexists with the Pacific Ocean and a bohemian atmosphere.
Cusco: The ancient Inca capital is a unique blend of pre-Columbian culture and Spanish architecture. Its temples, squares and streets are surrounded by hills that hide amazing places, such as Sacsayhuamán, Qenqo, Puca Pucará and Tambomachay.
Sacsayhuaman: An immense Inca fortress erected in the fifteenth century on top of a hill above Cusco. Its gigantic stones are a sign of its grandeur that continues to amaze visitors 500 years later.
Machu Picchu: The ‘Lost City of the Incas’ draws thousands of people to Peru every year. Hidden among the vegetation, this mountain-top citadel, built in complete harmony with the surrounding landscape, hosts a wealth of rooms, temples, bridges and religious sites that offer visitors a chance to get closer to Peru’s fascinating past.
