Mycenae was the capital of the ancient Mycenaean Civilization one of the oldest civilizations in the world and the kingdom of the well-known Agamemnon and it was at its peak from 1600 to 1100 BC. It was a military stronghold which dominated the biggest part of southern Greece and it was the most important and wealthiest center of the era.
During this tour we will visit the archaeological site, you will see the Cyclopean Walls, the Lion’s Gate, the Royal Tombs and the Treasury of Atreus (Tomb of Agamemnon).
