Description
Guided tour of the "Pearl of the Tyrrhenian Sea": starting from the rare beauty of the historic center and the terrace overlooking the sea. The tour continues to Piazza Ercole and the historic building of Pontercole, the ancient noble parliament of Tropea. A few meters away is the Cathedral of Santa Maria di Romania, built in Norman style, and then you continue through the panoramic points with the famous view of Santa Maria dell'Isola; also known as Isolabella. The sanctuary is owned by the abbey of Montecassino and has been overlooking the sea and the marina with the beach at its feet for about 1000 years. Free time for shopping in typical shops with local products, ceramics, and typical Tropean clothing. Lunch at a typical Tropean trattoria with local products.
