Mount Kerinci Trekking Itinerary
Day 1: Arrival Padang Airport – Bukit Tinggi
Pick up Upon arrival at Minangkabau Int airport Padang, our guide escorting you to Bukittinggi by passing Anay Valley, on the way stop at Kiambang and Pandai Sikat Village to see traditional hand carving and weaving. Check-in Hotel and Free in your leisure time.
Day 2: Bukit Tinggi – Kersik Tuo
After breakfast escorting you to Kersik Tuo via Muara labuh, on the way stop at Lake Diatas and Lake Dibawah and passing several MinangKabau Village. Visiting Telun Berasap Waterfall and passing tea plantation at Kayu Aro and arrival at Sei Penuh , the area of Kerinci Seblat National Park. Check in to your accommodation upon arrival at Kersik Tuo.
Day 3: Mount Kerinci Climbing
Today you will begin your hard work to ascend Mount Kerinci entering from Seblat gate then trek up to the campsite of shelter 3 with an altitude of 3100 MASL. All meals will provide by your guide. Stay at camp and enjoy the surrounding.
Day 4: Mount Kerinci Summit Attack
Early morning weak-up call from your Guide about 4 am enjoy a cup of tea and light breakfast then be ready to Kerinci Summit Attack, Enjoy the Summit with its awesome scenic view. After having breakfast at the campsite then descend to Seblat gate then drive you to Kersik Tuo for stay overnight.
Day 5: Kersik Tuo – Bangko
Today After breakfast we will explorer the Sumatra land by visiting Semurup Hot Spring, Old Historical Mosque with its Giant Drum, and Lake Kerinci, then drive to Bangko on the way passing rain tropical forest with its flora and fauna. Stop also be made at several interesting places on the way to Bangko. Check in to Hotel free in your leisure time.
Day 6: Explorer Kubu Primitive Tribe
It's time to explore the Kubu Tribe, will drive about 2 hours to the Kubu Tribe entrance Gate then will take hiking through their Village. Get close to their daily activities and culture, your lunch provides on picnic style. After socializing with the Primitive Kubu Tribe will heading back to the hotel about an afternoon. Free in your leisure time.
Day 7: Bangko – Bukit Tinggi
After breakfast drive to Bukittinggi via Trans Sumatra highway ant with a stop at Muara Bungo, Singkarak Lake and passing several interesting places, arrival at Bukittinggi the charming town of Minangkabau, check in to hotel.
Day 8: Bukit Tinggi – Departure
Today are your last day at Bukit Tinggi Enjoy the hotel facilities and surrounding while waiting for time to escorting you to Padang Airport for your next destinations. Trip Conclude.
