Description
Day 1: Kumai, Cape of Good Hope
Morning pickup from airport or hotel to ship
Greeted at Pangkalan Bun Airport by our friendly Guide with your name placard card
Transfer from the airport directly to the ship, where you are greeted by a full crew
Snack and tea on arrival at the klotok
River cruise to Tanjung Puting National Park
While enjoying the river cruise, see wildlife, including: Proboscis monkeys, long-tailed monkeys, wild orangutans and many more
Lunch on boat while down the river to the first station at Cape of Good Hope
Feeding orangutans at 3pm
Return to the ship, where you will be able to see the monkey's trunk and macacque and various species of birds
Enjoy a candlelight dinner, listening to the sonatas of nocturnal animals, birds and insects
Lie on the deck, to gaze at the stars and the clear night sky
Overnight on the boat, under a mosquito net, covered by a boat deck, but with all the advantages of being outdoors
Day 2: Camp Leakey, Pondok Ambung
Breakfast on the boat, on the route to the next activity
Go to Camp Leakey on a journey to find wild orangutans,
Also discover the abundant plant life, butterfly and insect species found in the rainforest
Return to the ship for lunch
Check out an afternoon feeding orangutans on the outskirts of Camp Leakey
See crocodiles while cruising on the river and enjoy your afternoon
Dare to take a nocturnal trek through the jungles of Borneo, looking for glowing mushrooms, nocturnal moths, deer, and tarsier small nocturnal primates, unique to the region. Overnight on the boat, relaxing on the boat and in the wild
Day 3: Pondok Tanggui, Pesalat, Sekonyer Village, Tanjung Harapan
Breakfast on the boat
Travel downstream to eat orangutans in the morning at Pondok Tanggui (station 2)
Lunch on the boat
Visit the reforestation site in Pasalat and plant trees to help and learn about conservation plans for the rainforest.
Create memories and help make a lasting impact on rainforest restoration
Learn about the medicinal properties of various rainforest plants
Visit a local village and spend time with the locals, viewing handcrafted souvenirs
Return to Cape of Good Hope to eat orangutans
Return to klotok for afternoon tea and fried banana
Travel downstream of the river to see fire flies and other magical things in the rainforest
Candlelight dinner on the klotok
Overnight on the boat, enjoying the serenity of the forest at night
Day 4: Tanjung Keluang –turtle research center
Breakfast on the boat
Exploring Kumai Bay to reach Tanjung Keluang
Learn about turtles, breeding sites, guests can release turtles into the sea (donation made to research center)
Lunch is back on the klotok
Relax on white sand beaches and swim at your leisure
See beautiful sunsets
Intimate dinner on the deck
Explore the nightlife in the forest on the Night trek
Overnight in klotok
Day 5: Kumai, Pangkalan Bun
Breakfast on the boat
Return to Kumai and organized transfer To Airport OR Hotel
