Night Freetour Pirates and stories from beyond the sea in Vigo

Description

We will meet promptly at the designated location to begin this free tour. Are you ready to discover Vigo illuminated by night?

The tour will begin with a walk up Rúa Urzáiz to reach Plaza de Portugal, where we’ll explore the Churruca area — known for being one of the city’s liveliest nightlife districts, often frequented by students.

Next, we will walk along Rúa do Príncipe and Rúa Policarpo Sanz, where we’ll admire elegant 19th-century buildings. We will soon reach Puerta del Sol, one of Vigo’s most iconic squares, home to the Sireno sculpture. We’ll share some fascinating facts about both the sculpture and the square.

We will then make our way up to the San Sebastián fortress, which offers a panoramic view of Vigo, the estuary, and the nearby towns.

Before concluding, we’ll head to the Alfonso XII viewpoint and walk through Rúa Chao and Calle Real — two streets well-known for their vibrant wine and nightlife scenes. The tour will end at Plaza de la Constitución.
