Khao Sok National Park: it boasts Thailand’s largest virgin forests and is considered one of the oldest rainforests on the planet, a lush natural habitat where a plethora of exotic wild animals roam free.

Phra Boromathat Temple: a beautiful temple that possibly dates back to the eighth century. An old pagoda within the temple compound is said to house relics of Lord Buddha. 

Wat Phra Mahathat Temple: one of the most important Buddhist temples in Thailand, and one of the oldest. It is one of only six primary royal temples. 

Tham Le Khao Kob Cave: a wonderful eco-tourism adventure spot, with rare stalagmite and stalactite creations. 

Island Hopping: full-day visit to Koh Kradan, Koh Mook and Koh Chuak islands, including spectacular Emerald Cave (weather permitting). 

Thale Noi Lake: one of the most important wetland ecosystems in the country and Thailand’s largest waterfowl reserve.

Know before you go

Comfortable and light clothing is the most suitable for travelling in Thailand. Visitors should not wear sleeveless shirts, shorts, short skirts or skimpy clothing when visiting temples, religious or official buildings. Shoes should be removed before entering a temple or private house. Sun protection, sunglasses, a hat and mosquito repellent can be very useful during your stay.
