Discovery Diving
Description
This is suitable for absolute beginners, this is an experience program and does not result in a certification (see scuba diver or open water diver for certification). During this 2 to 3-hour experience your instructor will brief you on the gear, basic diving and safety concepts before heading out to the water. Typical time underwater is around 50 to 60 minutes.
Explore coral reefs, dive at the wonderful dive sites of Tulamben and Padangbai. All courses listed here include diving, materials, equipment and certification, there are no hidden costs. Using e-learning materials for these courses can reduce quoted durations by 1 day or even more.
The majority of our beginner courses are supported by new online materials, e-learning and online manuals for many, these are highly recommended and allow you to complete the academic studies before your arrival here, allowing you to make the most out of your vacation. For those that prefer them paper manuals or the online manual they will always be available.

Excluded
- Underwater Camera is available for rent at IDR 400.000/day and includes our dive leader service to help you taking photos.
- Extra dive is IDR 300.000/person/dive (minimum 2 divers).
- Personal Instructor is available IDR 500.000/day.
- Upgrade for PADI Discover Scuba Diver recognition is IDR 100.000/person.
- A request for a Private trip for minimum 2 persons with 1 Instructor, additional price is IDR 500.000/day on published prices without discount.
- Additional premium scuba insurance will be partner with DAN with additional price is IDR 150.000/person/day.
Know before you go
To maintain our service quality to the other customers we need to inform there will be 50% cancellation fee if there is cancellation 7 days before the excursion date and 100% if there is cancellation on the excursion date.
