2 Days Yogyakarta Fun Merapi Lava - Private Tour with Guide

DAY 01 : MERAPI TOUR – BOROBUDUR TEMPLE – MALIOBORO ( L)
Pick up at lobby Hotel at 07.30 am. We will frist drive to Kaliurang to enjoy the beautiful scenery of the Merapi Volcano from Kali Adem Village (Jeep is not included). Then enjoy a traditional Javanese lunch at Saung Apung Timbul Roso, a restaurant with huts built over fishpond, offering quiet and peaceful village ambiance. Next, we will drive to Magelang, passing the salak pondoh plantation. We will visit the biggest Buddhist temple in the world: Borobudur temple. Be prepared to be awed at the extremely detailed and outstanding construction around the temple. We will then head back to Jogjakarta to shop at Beringharjo traditional market and also along the lively Malioboro street. Be ready to be surprised at the different merchandises, batik, traditional snacks, Javanese herbs, rattan ornaments and handicrafts. Back to Hotel.
DAY 02 : CITY TOUR – SUNSET PARANGTRITIS (B,L)
Pick up at Lobby Hotel at 08.00 am to visit “Kraton” - the magnificent royal palace of Sultan - and Taman Sari water castle. We will then visit a traditional batik home industry. We will also then visit Kotagede and have a delicious lunch at local restaurant. Then we will drive to Kasongan village to enjoy the art of clay pottery making with their unique traditional designs. We will end the day by enjoying a romantic sunset at the sandy, peaceful Parangtritis beach. Back to Hotel.
