DAY 1 : TRANSFER IN YIA AIRPORT – BOROBUDUR - MALIOBORO (L)
WELCOME TO JOGJA. You will meet and be greeted by our guide at YIA Kulonprogo. We will directly make our way to have a delicious lunch at a local restaurant. Then we will finally make our way to the largest Buddhist temple in the world – the iconic Borobudur temple. Be prepared to be amazed at the extraordinary details of the construction around the thousand-year-old temple. We will end the day by shopping at Beringharjo traditional market and along Malioboro street. These two connected shopping areas offer batik, traditional snacks, Janavenese herbs, rattan ornaments and handicrafts, and so much more. Check in Hotel ( L )
DAY 2 : CITY TOUR – SUNSET PARANGTRITIS (B, L)
We will start the day by visiting “Kraton” - the magnificent royal palace of the Sultan - and Taman Sari water castle. Then onward, we will visit a traditional batik home industry. Next, we will visit Kotagede and have a delicious lunch at local restaurant. We will also drive to Kasongan village to enjoy the art of making pottery from clay with unique designs. Finally, we will enjoy a romantic sunset at the beautiful Parangtritis beach. Dinner at local restaurant.
DAY 3 : DEPARTURE YOGYAKARTA INTERNATIONAL AIRPORT ( YIA ) ( B )
After breakfast, you will be transferred to the YIA Kulonprogo.
