LAMANDAU TRIP (RIAM TINGGI VILLAGE)
Day 01
Arrival Pangkalan Bun – Lamandau - RIAM TINGGI VILLAGE (B,L,D)
Arrive at Iskandar airport in Pangkalan Bun then heading to have lunch at a finest local resturant in Pangkalan Bun, tasty grilled fish and sour soup are parts of your culinary adventure in Borneo.
After lunch, take a 2.5 hours road trip to Nanga Bulik, the capital of Lamandau regency. Then continued by 2 more hours to reach Riam Tinggi village.
Traditional welcoming ceremony presents by indigenous Dayak Tomun tribe, the native of Lamandau.
Check in to the Long House (Rumah panjang)/ homestay, then sightseeing around Riam Tinggi village accompanied by tour guide and local host.
See the process of making local coffee, visit the historical situs called “sandung sapunduk”. Continue to the cemetery of dayaknese tribe people, “jurung” were is rice storage. And visit the museum of “bukung mask”.
The evening, welcome ceremony called “Bagondang party ”and “Ikat Tongang” are the highlights of your first day journey, this party held by the Dayaks is the traditional way to accept new visitors to their village and welcoming people to become parts of the big family.

Day 02
Rainforest Trekking (B, L, D)
After breakfast, you will be taken to a trekking adventure into the rainforest of Borneo. The highlight of your second day journey is to experience one of the oldest pristine rainforests in the world. Borneo rainforest, along with the Amazon and the Daintree in Australia, are three oldest tropical rainforests. With your local guide and crew, explore the livelihood of the Dayak, making traps for boars and deers, crossing stony rivers, and learn the ability to survive in the forest.
Trekking about 3-4 hours, Your lunch will be served in an authentic traditional ways, rice and vegetables cooked in bamboo, with plates made from leaves.
Back to the village before the sunset, if still enough time, your local guide will offer you experience of river tubing / rafting*.
Having dinner with Dayak families at the long house, and share the culture tales and melting into togetherness.

Day 03
Lamandau – PANGKALAN BUN - AIRPORT/HOTEL (B, L)
Early breakfast then take another 5 hours road trip with Your tour guide back to Pangkalan Bun, transfer to hotel or airport. Tour End.
