Full Itinerary
Begin your Photo Safari Adventure by meeting our local photographer in Syntagma Square, the beating heart of Athens.

Your first stop is in front of the monument of the unknown soldier and the guards of the constitution, the Evzones dressed with a white skirt, red hat and old rifle. Photograph the emblematic “change of the guard’ ceremony and learn all about this tradition.

Then, after jumping on the metro, you head to a secret rooftop from where you can enjoy dazzling views over the city’s skyline and capture unique photos of the one-and-only Ancient Acropolis. A selfie here with the Parthenon temple in the background is a must!

Next, you explore the Plaka neighborhood, Athens’ continuously inhabited area since ancient times, passing along picture-pretty alleys and discovering photogenic corners.

With your guide by your side, find your way to the well-hidden area of Anafiotika, a Cycladic “island” with cobblestone pathways and whitewashed houses. Here, you experience the locals’ everyday life away from the bustling side of the city.

Continuing this photo tour, you head to the Monastiraki neighborhood and its colorful Flea Market. Venture through the market and add in your frame all these unique market vibes including passionate sellers and bargainers, upcycled furniture, garments, old housewares, and many more.

Later on, experience the alternative side of Athens by visiting the district of Psirri. Wander around the district’s streets that host charming cafes and bars as well as unique vintage shops, and explore the fascinating street art scene that has flourished here by discovering awesome murals and creative graffitis.

Finally, wind your way through the aromas and flavors to the Municipal Market of Athens, the center of fresh produce and locals’ mingling since the 19th century. Here is a local-favourite place that offers you countless photo possibilities.

Your tour wouldn’t be complete without relaxing your muscles in a local coffee shop for a freshly brewed coffee. Scan your photos, post your best photos and stories, and blow up your Instagram!
