Santurtzi pretty coastal town

Description
This tour will take you to discover the Bizkaia Bridge, built in the late 19th century as a representation of the iron industry in the area, and a link between both riverbanks. On the right side, you will uncover Getxo, a former summer area of Bilbao, from the incredible palaces of Neguri to the charming centuries-old houses of the Old Port of Algorta.
You cannot come to Bilbao without visiting this traditional town, even if it is just to taste the dish that made it famous: its sardines! There is almost nothing left of the times when Santurtzi was the most important port for inshore fishing and was visited by the romantic figures of the sardines!
Discover the beautiful panoramic view of the Abra Bay, the outdoor sculpture museum, the fishing port, and the Queen Victoria Promenade where you can appreciate the maritime past of this unique Biscayan town. Board a stranded fishing boat or uncover the mystery of the privateers and pirates.
On the left side lies the medieval town of Portugalete, with steep and narrow streets and routes of the Camino de Santiago.
The visit ends in true Bilbao style, let's go for pintxos!! (pintxo-pote included in the tour). The pintxo is the quintessence, a bite-sized appetizer.
