Chateau Cyclo Vino Côte de Nuits

Description

This ride between Dijon and Nuits Saint Georges crosses the most prestigious appellations of the Côte de Nuits, it’s not for nothing that the route you will take is also called “The Champs Elysées of Burgundy”.

From our agency located in the historical center of Dijon, close to the train station, you will be equipped with your bike, helmet, road book, your GPS apps (very easy to use) and your train ticket for your way back.

It’s off for the adventure! Once out of Dijon by a cycle route you arrive at the Château de Marsannay in the heart of the vineyards for a tasting visit of 6 wines.

Then a succession of world famous names that will follow your pedal strokes. Gevrey Chambertin announces the start of the 28 parcels of Grands Crus that you are going to cross, while Burgundy only has 33!

Morey Saint Denis then Chambolle Musigny, the appellation often assimilated to the elegant and feminine red wine of the Côte de Nuits. This is where you will have lunch in a restaurant with traditional and refined French cuisine.

Your excursion continues and for a smooth digestion you may make a short stop in the iconic Château du Clos de Vougeot, birth place of Burgundy wines.

It’s not over, your pilgrimage takes you to the Romanée Conti, DRC domain, quite simply the plot of vine that produces the most prestigious wine in the world! A few more miles into the vineyard on a cycle path to reach Nuits St Georges and your last cellar visit and tasting of 4 wines.

Your day ride will end with a return train to Dijon.
