Walking UNESCO'S Basque Coast Geopark in Zumaia

Description

After catching the train in San Sebastián and traveling for about 40 minutes we will arrive at the beautiful town of Zumaia where we will visit the UNESCO Basque Coast Geopark. Then and for about 3 hours we will dedicate ourselves to touring part of the old part of the town and understanding its historical evolution, at the same time that we will begin our geological knowledge.
After visiting the old town we will go to a small watchtower 80 meters above sea level and we will begin our journey of some 15 million years of history. You will discover the incredible and unique rock formation of the Flysch of the UNESCO World Geopark of the Basque Coast and through its cliffs you will understand the great importance of this natural heritage. We will visit Itzurun beach and walk outside the San Telmo Hermitage.
We will end this experience in a local tavern with a drink included.

Included

· Hand sanitiser and surgical mask for during the tour.

· One way train ticket to Zumaia for the morning tour

· Use of Makila traditional walking stick, umbrella and poncho in case of rain.
