Day 01
Arrival
You are warmly welcome at your Airport Colombo. You can have a comfortable journey to hotel in Colombo. You can rest all the day after a long air journey in the hotel, Overnight stay at Galadari hotel or similar hotel in Colombo.
Day 02
Proceed to Yapahuwa
On the way visit Ridi viharaya and Arankele
Ridi viharaya is included to cultural triangle because of its historical values. The Rajamaha viharaya consists of caves which were used for monks meditation and isolated living purposes. Stone carved letters in the temple it is confirmed that the temple was built during the 2nd &3rd B.C. also the plan of the temple buildings also mentioned in the stone caved letters.
Arankele
It is one of the most famous & leading “Aranya” or an isolated calm meditation center situated in the woods. It is said that thousands of monks had been medicated in this temple, Overnight stay at Hotel Yapahuwa Paradise or similar hotel in Yapahuwa.
Day 03
Proceed to Haththikuchchi
Soon after breakfast you are straight away travelled to visit Yapahuwa kingdom. When Polonnaruwa kingdom was invaded by Indian Tamils, the kingdom was broken and the king left behind and hid in unreachable safety mountains and in huge rocks seeking for surveillance. One of such places is Yapahuwa. Yapahuwa draws back into the quarter of the 13th century and it was used as a stone fortress for the safety and the sacred tooth relic of the load buddha, was honourly preserved here for eleven years. Amazing architectural designs and stone carvings are still victims to imagine the skillful ancient Sri Lankan technology.

Day 04
Proceed to Mihintale
Mihintale is one of the high mountain tops among several mountain range. And is more than 300 m higher above sea level. Mihintale is historically valued because Indian “Rahath Thero Mihindu” who was the son of Indian king Dharmashoka, Messager established the Buddhism in Sri Lanka during the 3rd B.C. Firstly Mihindu Thero met king Dewanampiyatissa the Sri Lankan king who ruled the country in the 3rd B.C. at the mountain hill of the Mihintale while the king was hunting, Overnight stay at Rajarata hotel or similar hotel in Anuradhapura.
Day 05
Proceed to Avukana Buddha Statue
Avukana Buddha Statue was created by carving a natural still rock more than 14 meters high as a standing statue during the 5th B.C. The crafter or the rock carpenter had spent more than six years using hand tools to gift this amazing and unbeatable creation to the world.
Proceed to Ritigala
Ritigala is a mountain hill “Aranya” which means an isolated temple in the woods for meditation purposes for the monks. The ruins and the rock carved letters which belonged to the 1st B.C. can be seen still in Ritigala. Day 06
Proceed to Sigiriya
First destination would be one of the wild life reservoir national park among Minneriya , Kaudulla or Eco to see giants of the jungle wild elephants, During November to March wild elephants are a common scenery at Eco park Because during this month’s Kaudulla and Minneriya lakes are filled completely by the rain fall.
From April to October wild elephants around 200 can be seen in both Kaudulla and Minneriya parks.
In the evening you will visit the eighth wonder of the world, which contains huge walls, water canals, security guard rooms, natural stoned arches, mirror stone and world famous Sigiri paintings. Day 07
Proceed to Medirigiriya
Medirigiriya is one of the excellent ancient Sri Lankan architectural creations, which unveils the amazing architectural history to the world. vatadage is a roof made of woods and roof tiles to cover the huge pagoda in order to protect it from the rain and sunshine, this is much older than the Polonnaruwa vatadage. Ruins are still available in Medirigiriya.
Proceed to Pidurangala Rock
Sunsets is a very beautiful scenery to watch at the rock top. It takes more than an hour to climb the rock through a thick wood path there is a 360 Celsius degrees scenic view point on the rock top. Hence it was a religious place the ruins of temple foundation and

Day 08
Proceed to Kandy
You are picked up before 8.00 a.m. from your residence in Habarana and drives straight away to Dambulla cave temple, which is the largest and the best-preserved cave temple in Sri Lanka. The caves were converted in to a temple complex by king Walagamba during the 1st century. There are about 153 buddha status and murals, which covers 2100 square meters. You have to spend around one and half hours to cover entire temple complex.
Then your second destination is Sri Muththumari Amman (kovil) hindu temple, which is the tallest and the most colorful hindu temple of the country. Enjoy kandyan dancing event in the evening between 5.00p.m. To 6.00p.m. And visit temple of the tooth relic. The most sacred molar tooth of the lord buddha is placed in seven golden caskets, under a golden celling, Overnight stay at Mahaweli Reach or similar hotel in Kandy.
Day 09
Visit Kandy with Three Temple Tour
Firstly, visit the Gadaladeniya temple, which was built in the 14th century by the king Wicramabahu III. There is an uncommon pagoda which can only be seen here. The pandol built at the entrance, exists both Buddhist and Hindu cultural carvings separately in two stone pillars of the pandol. You will have to spend nearly 45 minutes.
Next stop is Lankathilaka temple which is a mixed cultural combination of both Hindu and Buddhist archeological creation built by king Buwanakabahu. It takes 45 minutes to visit entire the area.
Embekka temple is world famous for its amazing wood carvings. There are more than 500 carving designs which are inequal from one another. Wood carvings unveil the unlashed legendary heritage of well improved aesthetic and artistic history of the 14th century of Sri Lanka. The shrine room and the Hindu temple located separately in the same premises, which shows the religious and ethnic unity of the nation during the era. You need nearly 45 minutes to cover the journey.
When come back to Kandy on the way you will visit royal botanical garden, which is covered by colorful flower plants, herbal plants, endemic and epidemic plant species and palm family trees all-inclusive more than 4000 varieties can be seen here, Overnight stay at Mahaweli Reach or similar hotel in Kandy.
Day 10
There are no itinerary plans and you are dropped back to the Air Port according to your flight departure time.
