Campania Region Highlights, Private Tour

Description
Discover some of the most essential parts of the Campania region in this nine-day cultural trip, beginning with an exploration of the ruins of ancient Pompeii to the magnificent views of Amalfi and its surrounding fishing villages. In Naples, a master chef will teach us all the secrets for a perfect pizza!
TOUR HIGHLIGHTS
Sorrento: A proud resort, Sorrento is nonetheless a sophisticated and beautiful town. Even the souvenirs are a cut above the norm, with plenty of fine old shops selling ceramics, lacework, and intarsia (wood inlaying), all famously produced here.
Amalfi: Deemed by UNESCO ‘an outstanding example of a Mediterranean landscape, with exceptional cultural and natural scenic values,’ this coast was awarded a spot on the World Heritage List in 1997.
Pompeii: ‘The buried city,’ it was once the holiday destination of rich ancient Romans because of its healthy weather and impressive views. Its archaeological zones, Herculano, and the Annunziata Tower have all been included in the World Heritage List by UNESCO.
