Valladolid & Wine tasting in a Ribera del Duero winery - From Madrid

Description
We will visit the Plaza de San Pablo, one of the best known squares in Valladolid. Its name is from the church of San Pablo, it is believed that its construction was between the years 1445 and 1468.
Then we will go to Ribera del Duro, when we arrive we will visit Curiel Castle which stands on a rocky hill, at the highest point in the province of Valladolid, which watches over the Douro Valley and, at the foot of the hill, the town that gives its name to the castle. The castle stands on a hill next to the Horcajo stream, which discharges into the Douro. We will finish the tour with a visit to the Protos Winery, carried out by Rogers Stirk Harbor + Partners, it is an industrial project where the winemaking process is seen, from the grape harvest to the bottling of the wines. Most of the internal space of the winery is underground, here the thermal mass of the soil is used to keep the wine fresh.
