Mount Lesung Rainforest Daytrekking & Canoing @ Munduk Wilderness

Description
Approximate duration: 5 hours, with an easy to moderate trekking level
The trek is in a protected rain forest and offers great jungle walks and fascinating view of both the Tamblingan and Buyan lakes and some wildlife encounters.
At 10 am, gather at our base camp for a welcome drink and safety briefing.
The starting point of the ascend of Mt Lesung, is at the west side of lake Tamblingan, from here hike to the Naga Loka Cave, (unfortunately due to safety reasons we cannot enter the cave). Your guide will make a short stop here to pay his respects and ask for a blessing at the little forest temple. Continue the hike and after nearly 3 hours trekking through the dense rain-forest we will arrive at the summit. Witness the Crater from a short distance, and enjoy the stunning views of Tamblingan and Buyan Lakes. (Weather permitting). A simple picnic lunch is provided.
Taking a detour you will then descend via the other side of the mountain, this route leads down to the lake. Upon arrival at Tamblingan lake, enjoy a leisurely canoe ride in a local dugout canoe. You will cross the lake from where it is then a short drive to our base camp. Upon arrival take a hot shower and relax with a well-deserved fresh roasted cup of coffee or tea before and early, hearty dinner is served.
The Wilderness camp is tucked-away in Munduk village and offers a360 degree view of hills and valleys and on clear days even the ocean can be seen. The camp is facilitated with hot showers, a colonial style restaurant and fire place.
