Porto Archeological and Medieval Tour

Description

The Arqueositio will open just for us! ( except on Sundays and Mondays). In this place we will see the archaeological discoveries of the civilizations that inhabited here between the X- VII b.C century until the XX century. 

We will continue to the Sé yard to understand how people lived in the neuralgic point of Portuscale in the Medial Age. We will continue to the "Cricket Church" and we will walk through the medieval streets of the XI century walled city. 

Then, we will start walking "inside" the XIV century medieval walls visiting the wonderful São Bento tiled train station, Aliados Avenue, Clérigos tower until we will reach to the old prison of the city.

  • Admission to the Arqueossitio (when it opens again, it is now closed due to works)
  • Live tour commentary provided in English, Spanish and Portuguese.
  • Exact destinations & itinerary may differ due to weather, road conditions, and the guide's discretion

Highlights

  • Private tour with your own guide for 3 hours.

  • Ask to stop whenever you want, for as long as you want to take photos, shop, enjoy the scenery or even go to the bathroom.

  • Be sure to bring comfortable clothes and shoes, sunscreen (if it's sunny), a raincoat, and an umbrella (if it's raining).
  • Swimwear and Towels if you want to dive into some beach.
