Please join me on a tour of the enchanting ancient stories, the history and the lifestyle of the Finns on a walking tour in Helsinki. Finland is the happiest country in the world by the report of the UN, now fourth time in a row and I shall be happy to discuss our life and culture here in the North, next to Russia and a member of the EU. I will pick you up from your Scandic Hotel and take you to see the Senate Square with the Senate Palace, the University of Helsinki, the National Library and the Helsinki Cathedral. Then viewing the Bank of Finland and the House of Estates and the National Archive. Then we shall walk to see the icebreakers - if they are not on the sea. By the icebreakers there ascends the great Uspenski Cathedral, one of the biggest orthodox churches in the Western Europe. Visit in the Catherdal if possible. Passing the Presidential Palace and visit at the Market Place .The Esplanade park - the Pohjola House and the Iittala and the Artek Vitra Design shops if interested. The Railway station, the transparent Sanoma Building. Visit at the Oodi Library - one of the greatest public libraries in the world. The tour terminates at the Citizen Square facing the Parlilament and the Music Center.

Know before you go
The tour is suitable for all. We shall design a special route for those having diffilties in walking. Please wear warm clothes and shoes and a scarf is always a good idea.
