On this self-drive tour of Tenerife, you will have the opportunity to explore some of the most impressive landscapes, lovely beaches and local cuisine. Walk along the streets of Orotava where culture, heritage and gastronomy are combined or discover the Teide National Park where its landscapes look like another planet or be surprised by Masca and its deep ravines and cliffs. or surprise yourself in Puerto de La Cruz and its attractions such as Casco historico or its fishing pier

Puerto de la Cruz: Sitting in the Plaza del Charco is a sublime pleasure. Then there is the privilege of watching the waves break on the coast of San Telmo, with the spectacular Lago Martiánez in the background. 

Puerto de Santiago: This small port was built taking advantage of a magnificent natural refuge, sheltered from the winds and with its breakwater built on a lava wash.

NOT INCLUDED IN CAR HIRE:

  • Important: hired car cannot be taken from one island to the other
  • Damage to a third party or to the rented vehicle due to negligence or inappropriate driving.
  • Loss or damage to aerials, jack, safety triangles and vests, windscreen wipers, petrol cap, luggage covers, or any other fixed or mobile component of the vehicle.
  • Damage to the engine through negligence.
  • Theft of the vehicle with keys left in the ignition.
  • Damage caused to the vehicle or to persons through driving under the influence of alcohol or drugsFines due to breaking traffic laws and regulations during the rental period are the responsibility of the driver of the vehicle. In the event of a fine being received there will be an administration charge.
  • If the car is left outside of rent a car designated area on drop off, customers will be responsible for any costs generated and for any damage caused to the vehicle due to it being parked outside of rent a car facilities.

Know before you go

Comfortable and warm clothing is the most suitable for travelling. Visitors should not wear sleeveless shirts, shorts, short skirts or skimpy clothing when visiting temples, religious or official buildings. Sun protection, sunglasses, a hat and mosquito repellent can be very useful during your stay.
