OPENTRIP ORANGUTAN TOUR 3D2N

DAY 01 :  Kumai – Tanjung  Harapan – Proboscis Bog Nose Monkey

Sekonyer River - Upon arrival at Pangkalan Bun Airport you will be picked up by our local staff and take you to Kumai to board on the boat. 11.00AM Tour Start .The boat is a traditional Klotok wooden river boat with a roof which forms the upper deck where you can view the rain forest as it glides by. The guide's team includes the boatman, a cook and expert guide. Light Trekking Tanjung Harapan feeding Camp station  , In the peaceful afternoon we will slowly explore the quite river by the klotok while observe the big nose monkeys along the riverside. Dinner on the boat and overnight on the boat. While overnight on the boat we serve mattress, pillow, fine meals, mosquito net, kitchen, simple toilet western standard available on boat besides the familiar - helpful guides and boatmen . 

DAY 02 : ORANGUTAN TOUR – BLACK RIVER- FIREFLIES DINNER 

After breakfast take a klotok to travel along the river for about 2 hours boating and then ride to the river bank to Camp Leakey where older orangutans are reintroduced into the rainforest. On the way it stopped at Pondok Tanguy, a rehabilitation center for new ex-captive orangutans. At Camp Leakey you will have the opportunity to travel to the rainforest with your expert guides and forest guards to appreciate the flora and maybe see wild orangutans, gibbons, apes and birds. Lunch is provided on the boat. We will then sail back down the river to spend the night on the boat. Dinner in the Nipah Forest is accompanied by thousands of fireflies that will look like a Christmas tree amid the darkness of the forest and dim candles.

DAY 03 SEKONYER  RIVER – KUMAI – PANGKALAN BUN

 After breakfast we return to Kumai and by car to transfer to your hotel - TOUR END Airport
