Description

The largest and best known cemetery in Romania was created in 1852, when Baron Barbu Bellu donated his orange orchard to the municipality. There are hundreds of amazing family crypts and mausoleums built by the prominent architects of the 19th and 20th Century, ornate with wrought iron, bronze statues, marble sculptures and wonderful details.
