Trekking and wine tasting in Dealu Mare/The Great Hill (largest DOC of Romania)

Description

Trekking through the beautiful and scenic Buzău mountains, looking for the legendary stone dwellings of Bozioru that date back to Medieval Times, where monks and hermits lived in complete seclusion, prayer and meditation (4h).

We stop for lunch at a scenic, traditional restaurant in the area, Ferma Dacilor, that celebrates the history and traditions of the ancestors or Romanian people.

Our second visit is at Domeniul Aristiței, another boutique winery, where we will try wine made with a different philosophy and approach, but just as interesting and premium.
