East Bali Safari by Volkswagen

Description
Early morning set off from the hotel in your convertible Volkswagen to visit the historical site of Pura Kehen Bangli. Continue uphill to Balis most sacred mother temple at Gunung Agung - Besakih Temple. This impressive complex of temples is continuously frequented with worshippers. Enjoy lunch in the beautifully located Mahagiri Restaurant and then drive through lush vegetation and bright green rice terraces to the water palace of Tirta Gangga. Stop here for a drink and a walk around the unique water gardens. After another scenic drive arrive at Tenganan, home to the Bali Aga people who still maintain their ancient traditions such as gamelan music, traditional weaving and ritual dances. Our last stop will be Goa Lawah, one of Bali’s most important temples. It features a complex built around a cave opening that is inhabited by hordes of bats. Its name simply translates to 'Bat Cave’. The temple was established in the 11th century by Mpu Kuturan, one of the early priests who laid the foundations of Hinduism on the island.Drive Back to hotel.
