Long before Thailand as you sees it today, the history of this kingdom lies within the ruins ample with reminiscent of the past. Temples that signifies the influence of the Khmer Kingdom filled with tales and myth behind these architecture. All of it awaits you on this full day exploration.
Your excursion commence at your hotel lobby where you are greeted by our guide. We head north towards our first stop, Lopburi City. As you enter the region, notice numerous numbers of monkeys running around freely and even more at the Khmer-inspired landmarks of Prang Sam Yot.
Visit nearby San Prakan before heading Narai Rajnivej Palace. The palace designed by french architect therefore there’s noticeable inspiration from the Palace of Versailles, France. The palace was abandoned after King Narai has passed away.
Heading towards Ayutthaya after lunch. Set out to the notable temples in Ayutthaya Historical Park. Wat Lokayasutharam, a massive temple ruin with 42-meter long reclining buddha statue. The main highlight and most sought after locates at Wat Mahatat, where you marvel at the Buddha head entangled by tree roots that dominates the temple. Ending our excursion with the visit to the ancient temple which was a part of the royal palace, Wat Phra Sri Sanphet.
