Escape to Santorini, 3 Days

Description
Santorini is often branded as a “must-visit destination” because there simply is no other place even remotely like it, in the entire world. It’s the precious gem of the Aegean which actually consists of Thíra, Thirassiá, Asproníssi, Palea and Nea Kaméni. The whole complex of Santorini islands is still an active volcano whose crater is in the sea and the contrast it creates with the white-washed buildings set against the clear blue sky is what makes it so unique.
TOUR HIGHLIGHTS
Caldera: One of the natural wonders of planet earth created in Santorini by the volcanic eruption. The caldera is the reason behind Santorini’s famous crescent shape that has also been linked to the myth of Atlantis.
Oia Village: Oia is the most picturesque settlement of Santorini, a village with traditional character. Built on the caldera cliffs, when it is under the colors of the sunset it becomes even more idyllic. There are charming white washed houses, blue-domed churches which compose an entrancing scenery. The best place to sit and enjoy the sunset is the remains of the prominent Castle of Agios Nikolaos. From here you can cherish the most scenic view; the spectacular settlement unfolding in front of you, the impressive volcano across the sparkling Aegean Sea and the dreamy horizon.
Volcanic beaches: Discover Santorini’s seaside treasures and enjoy deep blue waters and beaches with white, red or black sand or volcanic pebbles, spectacular rock formations and impressive lunar landscapes.
