Fyksesund RIB fjord safari (private group)
Description
Fjord safari with RIB to the Fyksesund fjord branch. This fjord is the only branch of the Hardangerfjord without a road to the end. The last 5 km of the 10 km long fjord goes between steep mountainsides to the roadless old village Botnen at the end of the fjord.
After dressing up we do a brief review of safety.
From Øystese boat tour goes south- east om the main Hardangerfjord to the start of the Fyksesund fjord branh. This fjord an adventurous beautiful fjord arm midway through the Hardangerfjord.
Join us on an adrenaline-filled RIB tour – the fastest boat ride you can get! Your driver and guide stops a couple of times to let the unique scenery work its magic and to provide interesting facts about the fjord and people who used to live at the fjord farms.
There are several stops close to land along the way to experience nature and life along the fjord. It is important to have a camera easily accessible.

Life west, goggles, gloves, beanies, neck wamer and flotaion suit (children sizes 8-14 yo and unisex sizes xs-xxl).
Know before you go
- On rainy days wear water repellent shoes. If heavy rain wear rain jackets and pants (the flotation suits are only water repellent)
- On chilly days (under 15 degrees) wear warm clothes
- In the colder parts of the year (November–March) wear warm winter boots/shoes and warm clothes in several layers. Warm and windproof gloves/mittens is also recommended.
