Chocolate Making & Tasting Experience in Brussels (1.5 Hours with a Certified Artisan)

Description
Discover the authentic Belgian chocolate workshop
When you book with us, you’ll experience the real world of Belgian chocolate making with a certified handcraft chocolatier, officially recognized by the Federal Belgian Government. We proudly display the “Certified Belgian Handcraft Chocolate” logo on all our creations; it's a guarantee of authenticity and craftsmanship.
Unlike the many tourist shops around Grand Place that sell only industrial chocolates, with us you’ll truly learn the art of making chocolate, guided step by step by a genuine artisan. Not all “chocolate workshops” are what they claim. Some are just student-run activities in restaurants or museum demos with no real chocolatier involved. With us, you’ll be learning from genuine certified Belgian chocolate makers.
What you will do
During the workshop, you’ll create your very own chocolate delights:
- Handcrafted truffles
- Traditional chocolate mendiants
- A personalized chocolate bar
All of this is made with exceptional cacao from our organic plantations in Grand’Anse, Haiti. Once known as the “Pearl of the Antilles,” Haiti was historically a major exporter of coffee, vanilla, cacao, sugar cane, and essential oils. Despite decades of hardship, our cooperative partners are driving positive change through quality cacao and farm diversification.
Smallholder farmers in Grand’Anse grow cacao organically and deliver it to our fermentation centre, where it undergoes a rigorous process of fermentation and drying. This results in a flavoursome cacao that you will use during your workshop. To reward this exceptional quality, our farmers receive a premium: 33.9% of your workshop fee goes directly to them.
What you will experience

- Taste different origin cacaos from around the world.
