What's priceless®
Exclusively for Mastercard: Take home a personalized smock with your name imprint, a unique souvenir.
Join us at Studio 649 for an inspiring and unique experience! Studio 649, formerly a Sears manufacturing plant, boasts a history of 103 years. Transformed into artist lofts by Jack Evans, it resides in The Cedars, an industrial epicenter. Notably, Evans also gifted the neighboring building to the Dallas Police Dept.
When you arrive, we'll offer you sparkling water or wine and set the mood with beautiful music. Then, we'll head up to the rooftop to enjoy the stunning Dallas skyline, which will surely spark your creativity.
Back in the studio, our workshop, "The Color of Music," begins. You'll immerse yourself in the emotions of the music and think abstractly. Visualize the music in solid forms like a photo with positive and negative spaces.
Let your emotions guide you as you draw lines and shapes on the canvas to represent the music's feelings. Remember to leave enough blank canvas for the spaces between the notes. We'll help you mix the perfect paint palette, and together we'll add vibrant colors and texture to your canvas, bringing your masterpiece to life.
The best part is that you'll take home your finished painting as a cherished souvenir of this artistic journey.
Before you come, remember to park just before Southside on Lamar, behind the Canvas Hotel, in the parking lot on Belleview. Inside Southside on Lamar, ask the concierge for directions to Studio 649.
