Hammond Castle & Boston Tour

Description
What's priceless®
- A one-of-a-kind tour of Boston combined with a half-day trip to a real castle!
- Exclusive for Mastercard Holders: Enjoy fresh lobster rolls and clam chowder (alternatives available) at a local favorite lobster shack!
Start with a visit to Hammond Castle, an oceanside castle built by a quirky 1900s inventor as a family home in the quiet town of Gloucester. Tour the unique building, learning about the history of one of the most prolific inventors of the last century (you probably unknowingly use his inventions regularly)! Enjoy exploring the grounds, courtyards, and rooms, and learn about the many easter eggs and pranks laying about the grounds! The castle is home an extensive private collection of historical artifacts, whose origins range from ancient Rome through the Renaissance (including original doors from medieval European villages).
Head back to Boston in the afternoon. Enjoy free time for lunch with many local options in a historical area. After lunch, drive through all of Boston's historical landmarks, listening to stories about the city! You’ll see Copley Square, Beacon Hill, Boston Common and Public Garden, and more! End with a walk through Little Italy, visiting locations of key events surrounding the American Revolution.
Fun fact: The owners of Boston Hidden Gems had their wedding reception at this very castle, featuring a medieval dress code and a live fire show!
