The rest of the days are spent in Livingstone where you will enjoy various adventure and cultural activities.

Zambia is a land-locked Southern African country surrounded by eight neighboring countries. She is endowed with extremely rich cultural and natural heritage of both movable and immovable nature of high plateaus, numerous rivers and valleys. These natural features are best explored through overland transport tour safari. An immediate vehicle stop can be executed upon spotting any exciting event or activity along the way. On this overland trip, you will see the beautiful natural scenery along the main T-1 road from Lusaka up to Livingstone!

Game Drive  and  Rhino Walk Safari in the Mosi-oa-Tunya National Park in Livingstone.

You will do wildlife viewing game drive in the Mosi-oa-Tunya National Park for approximately 2 Hours. This will be done in an open 4x4 safari vehicle with a qualified safari guide.

Narrative: A game drive  offers a thrilling experience to have close encounters with 3 of the Big 5 animals namely Elephant; Buffalo and the near threatened White Rhino with good photographic opportunities while in the safety confines of the vehicle.

Overview

This little Mosi-oa-Tunya National Park sanctuary is Zambia's smallest National park free from predators. This, in combination with it being an area with manmade boundaries, guarantees an abundance of wildlife throughout the year. In addition to the migratory elephants, wildlife including white rhinos, giraffe, buffalo, waterbuck, impala, wildebeest, zebra, bushbuck, warthogs, monkeys, baboons, hippos and crocodiles are residents in the park year round. They inhabit a mix of riverine forest, mopane woodland as well as grassland, which also provides a variety of habitats for numerous bird species.

Within this park is the Old Drift Crossing Point as well as Cemetary, where the first European settlers were buried. Historically, the Old Drift was where ox-wagons were floated across the Zambezi, before there was a bridge.

You will experience BREATH TAKING ENCOUNTERS with the endangered White Rhino whilst walking in the untamed Zambian bush of Livingstone's Mosi O Tunya National Park.

Water related Adrenaline and Adventure Activities at your own cost

In the afternoon of Day 5, you will do a variety of Water related Adrenaline and Adventure Activities on Victoria Falls of the Zambezi River in Livingstone on your own cost. Such activities are  Devil's pool experience, Bunjee jumping, ZAMBEZI White Water Rafting, Zambezi River  Cruise, Victoria Falls Helicopter Flights, Micro flight, Flight of angels (Helicopter Flight over the Victoria) to mention but a few.

If water sport related activities is not your preference, then you can choose to do the more relaxed mid-day or late afternoon cruise on the mighty Zambezi River at your own cost. you will be picked from the reception of the lodge. You will then be transferred for your exciting, relaxing and splendid cruise on the mighty Zambezi River above the mighty Victoria Falls aboard a large water vessel.

Lion Walk

Alternatively, you may consider to do  a Lion Walk at Mukuni Park at your own cost. You will walk with the Kings of the African bush in this amazing and unique experience with no restraints. Just you and the lions, a one on one personal and intimaterelationship.

Malaria Risk – How to Protect Yourself Against Malaria.

Zambia is a high malaria risk country throughout the whole nation including urban areas. The highest risk of infection is in the rainy season, from November to May.  Persons visiting Victoria Falls must take malaria suppressive medication. In addition to the suggested antimalarial medication, use a mosquito bed net and effective repellents to avoid the bite of the nocturnal Anopheles mosquito whilst on tour in Zambia.

Before you travel to Zambia, kindly consult your local physician or travel health clinic for the malaria prophylactic regimen most appropriate to your need to protect you from getting Malaria whilst visiting Zambia.

•Warm as well as light clothes in the cool months {(May to August when midday temperatures may be quite warm and night temperatures cold to freezing) and light clothing for the other months. Even in summer, it is a good idea to bring at least one warm jersey or jacket as occasionally there are sudden drops in temperature caused by unusual weather conditions.}
