May - Oct 2025 ~ West Highland Way (Scotland) ~ Guided *TREK* / *GOLF* Package

Description
Beautiful Scottish Highlands
By embarking on a 7-day journey along the West Highland Way, you'll be treated to the breathtaking landscapes of this enchanting area. The trail's status as a timeless route is well justified. Moving at a relaxed speed, you'll have ample opportunity to fully appreciate the enchantment of Scotland's splendid Highlands, taking in the expanse of grand lochs, towering mountains, meandering rivers, untamed moors, and expansive glens. The rugged splendor of this iconic path through the Scottish Highlands competes with the most stunning landscapes worldwide. The vistas are awe-inspiring and incredibly diverse. This delightful hike can be undertaken in a span of six to nine days or split into two four-day segments. While the trail's fastest completion time is an astonishing 14 hours and 20 minutes for runners, our approach is far more leisurely, allowing us to relish the exquisite scenery.
Although the West Highland Way eventually earned its distinction as Scotland's inaugural long-distance trail, it required nearly two decades from its conceptualization in the 1960s to its official inauguration. The usual route traverses from south to north, commencing on the outskirts of Glasgow, passing by Loch Lomond, the remote yet magnificent Rannoch Moor, and the challenging Devils Steps, before culminating at the final destination in the heart of the Highlands, Fort William. Throughout the journey, the scenery progressively intensifies, reaching a pinnacle with views of Ben Nevis, the highest peak in Britain.
The complete path is clearly marked using well-maintained trails, with a significant portion of the route tracing ancient roadways. Notably, there's a segment that traces the path of an old Drover's road. Throughout most of the hike, you remain in close proximity to a settlement, yet certain more untamed stretches, especially across Rannoch Moor and the challenging Devil's Staircase, can evoke a sense of isolation.
We alleviate the strain of your journey through our adept understanding of the area, thoughtfully chosen lodgings, seamless luggage transfers, and comprehensive assistance to ensure your navigation is hassle-free.
