Full-day Cuc Phuong National Park Eco-adventure

Description

We will pick you up at your hotel in Ha Noi for a scenic departure to Cuc Phuong National Park, located southwest of Ha Noi. The journey takes approximately 2.5 hours (110 kilometers) to reach Vietnam's first national park, officially opened in 1960. Nestled between two limestone mountain ranges, Cuc Phuong boasts a rich ecosystem and dense forests, providing a habitat for some of Asia's rarest animal and plant species.

Our adventure begins with a visit to the Endangered Primate Rescue Center, established in 1993 by the Frankfurt Zoological Society. This non-profit organization is dedicated to the rehabilitation, breeding, and conservation of endangered primates, as well as the protection of their habitats.

After enjoying a delicious lunch, we will venture further into the park. En route, we will explore the Cave of Early Man, an astonishing historic site dating back over 7,000 years. Next, embark on a long trek through the lush forest to discover the park's diverse plant and wildlife. We will also make stops at Cho Chi, the oldest tree in the forest, and visit the picturesque streams and waterfalls along the way.

What to bring: Boots or sport shoes, a camera, a hat and insect repellent.
