Stadttempel Entry Ticket with a guided tour

Description

The Stadttempel is considered the main synagogue of Vienna due to its longstanding and distinct history. The synagogue was built with the permission of the Emperor in 1826, and designed by the renowned architect Joseph Kornhäusel. It played a decisive role during World War II, as this was the only synagogue in Vienna to survive the Novemberpogrom of 1938. On our tour, you will exclusively see the inside of the City’s Synagogue and get to know it’s vibrant history. With our expert tour guides, who are privately active and strong parts of the Jewish community of Vienna, you will have an unforgettable experience within the Synagogue and the Jewish community.

ATTENTION! Tours in German are only available on Thursday & Friday.
