Description

Want to find the best sceneries and funniest trails? Need some coaching for mountain biking? Interested about a photography bike tour? Or just like to do it private with no other riders and no need to care about speed and skills of anybody. You can hire a guide and book a private tour with us. The route is always tailored to suit your wishes and abilities.

This trip is perfect from people new to mountain biking to experienced riders. We tailor the experience to suit your riding abilities! As long as you can ride a regular bike, you are ready to enjoy the trip! Our special e-fatbikes make even riding uphill easy and fun on the snowy winter trails!

We’ll start the trip from our garage at Hostel Cafe Koti in the city center. In just few minutes we arrive in the snowy, silent forest of Ounasvaara hill. We bike to the top of the hill and back to the city using forest roads and winter trails.

Know before you go

During winter season weather can be anything from snow storm and -1°C to crispy -25°C. It's possible to ride almost in any weather and you really can do something to make your ride best possible.

Clothing recommended:

- Thermal underwear (double when colder than -18°C)
- Mid layer
- Winter jacket and trousers
- Warm gloves or mittens
- Winter shoes with double socks
- Balaclava or thin beanie under helmet. Note long jacket might stuck in to the back wheel and causes unpleasant situations. Same with long scarf so you better leave it to the hotel or hide well into the jacket. :)
