Dolomites and Cortina
Description
On the way, passed the Prosecco region, drive by the emerald-coloured Lago di Santa Croce with the first mountain chains in front of you. Go into narrow winding roads while river Piave rushes towards the sea. After about 45' get Auronzo di Cadore with its beautiful lake. Continue the journey through scenic landscapes, small canyons and valley before reaching Misurina. Stop for a cappuccino or a local grappa before driving to Cortina, called the pearl of the Dolomites. Located in a large valley Cortina fully represent the Italian Alps and the Dolomites. Stroll around the small centre and possibly get the cable car to Mount Faloria or Mount Tofana. Truly some unforgettable moments! Return to Venice by mid-afternoon.
