The Polylimnio waterfalls are a paradise on Earth and one of the one of the most stunning sites in the Peloponnese. Only a few kilometers away from Kalamata is the perfect place for canyoning ideal for beginners. It offers a unique combination of awesome jumps, swims into crystal clear pools, easygoing waterfall abseils, and of course a thrilling zipline over one of the lakes. Our tour here is perfect for everybody who wants to spend an unforgettable day in nature blended with a bit of adventure and loads of fun. Perfect also for beginners and families with kids from 8 years old! The canyon has a footpath running up the side, so it’s great for friends or family members who just wish to come and watch, take photos, and enjoy the canyon from a distance.

Meet your guide at the Polylimnio Parking and get transferred to the starting point. Your guide will brief you all you need to know about canyoning and how to achieve maximum fun out of it. He will also provide you with wetsuits, helmets, and harnesses and you are ready to go. Along the way, you'll discover the wonders of nature, jump and swim into natural pools abseil from waterfalls, and of course, get the chance to fly over a lake with our thrilling 30m cable zipline. You will also have the chance to abseil the biggest and most notable waterfall. Here, many visitors come to swim and you often hear them applauding at you as they see you rappelling the waterfall. Your guide will accompany you during the activity to ensure a safe and fun canyoning experience. None of the jumps or abseils is mandatory, so feel free to use the footpath if you don’t feel comfortable enough. We finish our canyoning experience at the end of the gorge near the car park enjoying a tasty picnic and remembering the thrilling moments we lived a few moments ago.

Know before you go

– Bottle of water (1,5 litre per person)

– Any specific medication you are on

– Short or long sleeve t-shirt (quick dry if available)

– Sunscreen

– Towel

– Swimwear or shorts

– Change of dry clothes (to change after canyoning)

– Spare pair of shoes that will get wet. Suitable are hiking shoes or trainers (Open shoes, sandals or flip-flops are unsuitable)
