Working up an appetite won’t be a problem on this tour, rated the best Chicago sightseeing bike tour of 2023 by TripAdvisor, and rated Top 20 Food Tour in the World by TripAdvisor!

We’ll be sampling from each of Chicago’s four favorite food groups — pizza, hot dogs, brownies and beer. You’ll learn the history behind the foods that made Chicago famous and also get a taste for some of Chicago’s most popular neighborhoods as we bike through Streeterville, the Gold Coast, Lakeview, Wrigleyville and Lincoln Park during the day. While our evening bikes and brews tour covers the same foods, we stick to the downtown city attraction scene. Come taste the best of Chicago pizza, snacks, and beer while having a blast on two wheels!

Both the 11:30am and 5:30pm tours include healthy portions of Deep Dish pizza, Chicago hot dogs, locally crafted beers, and dessert to top things off. The journey begins at our downtown headquarters, where our entertaining and enthusiastic guides will introduce you to our incredibly bike-friendly city streets. The tour finishes back at the Bobby’s headquarters, after four hours and thirteen miles worth of fun.

What to expect:

Bikes, Bites & Brews Tour: Signature Dishes Day Tour includes the northside neighborhood route through the Gold Coast mansions, Old Town Historic District, Lincoln Park, Lakeview, Wrigleyville (and Wrigley Field), and the Lakefront.

Deep-dish pizza is one of Chicago’s most famous recipes, and lures pizza enthusiasts from all over the world. Learn the history of this epic pie and taste some of the best for yourself!

The Gold Coast neighborhood is known for its leafy upscale real estate, as well as its high-end dining and shopping. Check out this area and see the historic Gibson’s steakhouse, the original Playboy mansion, and the home of former Chicago bull, Dwayne Wade.

Lincoln Park is Chicago’s largest municipal park, spanning five miles of waterfront and over 1200 acres of land. It’s home to countless bike paths, jungle gyms, and sports fields, as well as one of America’s largest free zoos.

Fun fact: Chicago is home to the world’s first brownie! Served as a portable dessert during the 1893 World’s Fair, the brownie has been pleasing Chicagoans and visitors alike for generations.  We’ll visit a European inspired bakery with lots of great sweets, including their tribute to Chicago’s original brownie. You’ll enjoy the sweet treat, choosing from a wide variety of flavors and learning how the brownie was created right here in Chicago.

The Chicago-style hot dog is unlike any sausage creation you’ve had before—all beef frank, mustard, tomato, pickle, relish, onion, sport pepper, celery salt… But never ketchup! Have one and change the way you eat this ballpark favorite.

Built in 1914, Wrigley Field is the second oldest baseball stadium in the nation and one of the most frequently visited by out-of-towners. Located in the heart of a vibrant nightlife district, a visit to Chicago is never complete without a trip to Wrigley.

Chicago is making a name for itself as an American craft beer capital. We’re home to some of America’s favorite breweries, with new microbreweries appearing every year. Taste some of the most refined and refreshing pours between rides—bikes and brews are the perfect pair.

The 18-mile Lakefront Trail has been contributing to Chicago’s cycle success since 1963. The paved path provides walkers, runners, and bicyclists with a safe and fun way to travel along the Lake Michigan, for both recreation and commuting.

On summer weekends, Oak Street Beach is packed with the blankets and swim gear of up to 300,000 Chicagoans. Pop-up bars, volleyball nets, and easy-access to downtown make this one of Chicago’s finest sandy spots.
