WATERCOLORS IN VENICE: PAINTING CLASS WITH FAMOUS ARTIST

Meet artist Nicola in his atelier and, after a short presentation of his artistic life, he will take you to the place where you will start creating your own personal work of art with watercolors!

Nicola is a Venetian artist, specialising in the art of watercolors, who runs a small shop in the heart of the historic city (a few steps from the Accademia Bridge). He graduated from the Academy of Fine Arts in Venice and has participated in numerous decoration works in important Venetian palaces and monuments such as La Fenice Theatre, the Bauer Hotel and many others.

The first step of the workshop will be the study of the sketch, an essential starting point for a good painting. Then we will move on to color, discovering how light is also a color, with its wonderful effects on the painting.

During the lesson, the teacher will reveal the secrets of how to achieve the best painting effects such as the reflection of water, the blending of colors between clouds and sky or the details of light and shadow using the great watercolor technique.

Each participant will create their own personal work of art while admiring the city's spectacular landscapes.

The lessons are suitable for both beginners and experts, and for anyone wishing to paint or draw "en plein air" while discovering watercolor techniques.
