Portobelo Tour - Big Island (Caribbean)

Description
We will learn about the route used to cross the Isthmus of Panama during the time of the conquest, where gold and wealth from South America were transported to Spain. Our path will run parallel to the old Camino de Cruces, built with stones and surrounded by tropical forests, which connected Panama City and Portobelo. Famous pirates for several centuries trying to loot the riches that were waiting here to be shipped to Spain, including Henry Morgan and Francis. In Portobelo (Caribbean) we will visit the Royal Customs House, the ruins of the San Javier and Santiago de la Gloria forts: They will also have the opportunity to see the famous Black Christ of Portobelo and his magnificent costumes carefully kept in the Museum of the Black Christ. Then we will continue our tour to one of the beaches of the Panamanian Caribbean on Isla Grande with crystal clear waters to enjoy a day at the beach.
